Player assessments are designed to provide players with a baseline assessment of their baseball abilities. We use the information from the Baseline Assessment Report to evaluate players strengths and guide future off-season programming to ensure they reach their off-season goals. Player assessments are 90 minute one-on-one sessions. Players will participate in a one hour lesson (Hitting, Fielding, or Pitching) followed by 30 minutes of video analysis and program development with our Player Development director.
Players will be evaluated in our Hit Trax tunnel which allows us to analyze real-time data for immediate feedback. With the powerful combination of video capture and analytics were able to identify key performance metrics such as exit velocity, distance, pitch speed, late break of pitch, strike zone analysis, spray charts and more. These measurements are designed to help identify tendencies while highlighting a players strengths and weaknesses.
