The Starters High Performance Hitting program runs from November 1-March 18 and are designed for committed players looking for an individualized off-season development program.
We will provide an individualized assessment at the beginning of the program for each athlete consisting of a strength and mobility assessment and a comprehensive swing analysis. The swing analysis will utilize Blast Motion and Rapsodo to provide quantitative data that both the coaches and athletes can use to create a baseline for each athlete. In-depth video analysis will be conducted to pinpoint the inefficiencies of each athlete to identify where their greatest opportunity for improvement are.
Each day athletes will move through a progression of movement preparation, tee work, flips or front toss, machine work, and simulated or live hitting. Athletes will get 80 to 140 swings per day depending on the focus of the program and the intensity of swings. These swings will be divided between tee-work, front toss, machine/bp, and simulated live. The focus of the program will dictate where the bulk of the swings are being applied.
